@The Lone Adventurer : Oh yeah, making them a podcast is next level commitment :D I’ve played with Fate Accelerated so far, I figured a light weight and flexible game would work well with getting accustomed to oracle procedures, and it’s been really fun so far (though my group games prevented me from playing more since writing my comment, so I have no new insights)

Thanks Carsten! I have that same problem though in my case I have the strange compulsion to write it all down, then record it, and put music over it! Things were much simpler, and much quicker, when I was little! Really pleased you’re enjoying the pod, and even happier it’s got you enthused for your own solo gaming. What are you playing?

As a kid, I had zero problems playing through entire story arcs, just with my Imagination and some toys often unrelated, but now when doing solo roleplay I condtantly have to fight the urge to write every bit of dialogue and scene setting down. Though now that I’m writing this comment, maybe going back to the kid days and using some toys as an anchor can help. I’ll have to try that out. Love this podcast by the way, it really inspired me to play my own solo rpg. The narration is top notch :)
